Hi there. I’m Lisa Zinkie, or Miss Z, and I am a veteran educator and computer coach. I’ve been in education for twenty-four years, the last eight as a librarian educator. I have specialized in teaching research, digital citizenship, computer basics, and literacy skills. I have also taught English/language arts, math, social studies, science and physical education. I have experience with special education students as well.
I enjoy graphic design and desktop publishing. Recently making videos have been my specialty as I has been on a state-wide program committee for a book award and have been making videos for three years. Keeping up with technology is part of my job as a librarian educator and I have a passion to share that with students and colleagues.
I love my nieces and nephews, traveling, dinosaurs, reading, sports, everything kawaii, hedgehogs, hiking, art, narwhals, cute animals, crafts and sewing, silly memes, the beach, and my sweet puppydog Rue.
